Geismars was founded by Christian Frederik in 1866. Geismar, whose uncompromising demands for quality made the brand unique. The classic plain weave is the simplest and most dense weaving method, making the fabric both durable and breathable. Sheets in plain woven cotton feel crisp and light, and they only get softer with time. This is the type of fabric often associated with an exclusive hotel atmosphere – fresh, clean, and comfortable to sleep in.
Geismars fitted sheets are designed for spring and box mattresses with a height of 18–24 cm and have elastic in the edge to ensure a perfect fit. They can be used alone or as a base under a mattress topper, if a uniform and smooth look in the bed is desired.
All sheets are made from yard goods where shrinkage has been accounted for. Therefore, we recommend washing the sheets 2-3 times before use so that they achieve their final fit.
The stated measurements include shrinkage. We always recommend washing the covers before use to ensure a perfect fit. The cover will reach its final size after 2-3 washes.
