The SHIZEN series is handmade in stoneware and glazed with organic glazes, made from natural ingredients such as wood ash. As organic materials are used, the glaze takes on a vibrant and unpredictable expression with small variations in color and texture, making each piece unique. The series is inspired by the Japandi style – a fusion of Japanese and Scandinavian design – simple, timeless and durable.
