KŌHI - Signe Schmidt cortado cup in sea blue

Small ceramic cup without handle - handmade by Danish ceramist Signe Schmidt.

The cup is an ideal size for a cortado, but is also great to use as a slightly larger espresso cup or for tea.

The cup is hand-turned in stoneware clay and hand-glazed in blue/gray shades.

Ceramicist Signe Schmidt creates her designs based on the Japandi style, which draws on both Japanese and Scandinavian expressions and traditions. Signe hand-turns all of her products in stoneware clay in her own workshop.

What is special about Signe Schmidt's collection of cups and bowls is her sense of color and her work with glazes.
