Kōyō means autumn leaves in Japanese and symbolizes the beauty of change – a thought beautifully expressed in this handmade plate with its vibrant grey glaze and simple, organic shape.

The plate is created by the Japanese ceramist Mr. Takashi. Each plate is shaped and glazed by hand, and therefore no two are exactly alike – each piece has its own unique expression and clearly shows the mark of the handmade process.
