Kōyō means "autumn leaves" in Japanese and symbolizes the beauty of change – a thought beautifully expressed in this handmade plate with its vibrant gray glaze and simple, organic shape.
The plate is created by Japanese ceramicist Mr. Takashi. Each plate is shaped and glazed by hand, so no two are exactly alike – each piece has its own unique expression and clearly bears the mark of the handmade process.
