This Japanese fine mesh strainer is made of stainless steel with a delicate little bamboo handle. The fine mesh structure makes it ideal for sifting matcha powder to avoid lumps in your tea. It is easier to whisk your matcha if the powder is sieved beforehand.

The sieve can also be used to filter broth or to sift flour and sugar when cooking and baking. A classic tool in Japanese cuisine.
