Heavy, solid pine and fine pine veneers come together in a beautiful contrast in the Hoop table lamp. The solid wooden base acts as a natural and stable foundation, keeping the entire lamp securely in place. A simple arc of pine veneer acts as a shade, filtering the light softly and atmospherically.

Each lamp base starts as a knot-free block of solid wood, which is precisely milled to house and conceal the electrical components. The shade is made of high-quality pine veneer, carefully carved to highlight the wood's vibrant and characterful grain.

The Hoop lamp is available in two sizes:
The Medium Hoop stands stable on sideboards and desks
Small Hoop fits perfectly on shelves and small side tables

The lamp comes in two parts that are easily assembled without the use of screws. Bulb included.

Characteristic of the lamp - Hoop is made from solid Scots Pine and high-quality pine veneer. The combination of these two key materials is the very essence of this characterful design from Vaarnii.

All solid pine used by Vaarnii comes from sustainably managed Finnish forests. The trees grow slowly, which gives the material extra strength. Each piece of wood is carefully hand-selected to ensure the highest quality, with unique variations in color and grain. Depending on the product, natural characteristics such as knots and vibrant grain patterns are deliberately preserved, as they add character and authenticity. For Hoop, however, we have carefully selected knot-free sections to create a cleaner look.

Pine only gets more beautiful with age. The color gradually deepens over several years. As we use both heartwood and sapwood, which age at different rates, Vaarnii's products go through a decorative, striped phase before the wood finally takes on a uniform and warm honey color.

It is natural for pine to show signs of wear and tear over time. These signs of life should not be seen as defects, but as part of the wood's history. We encourage our customers to embrace these marks and enjoy the vibrant colors and grain patterns that make pine one of the most exciting and expressive woods.
