Beautiful, handwoven wall hanging/noren from Japan.
This wall hanging is handwoven and handcrafted by Japanese artisan Mofusa, and each piece has its own unique expression.
'Tori' means bird in Japanese. The simple motif with two stylized birds in muted colors creates a calm and harmonious expression. The organic shapes and minimalist aesthetic make the wall hanging suitable for the living room, bedroom, or entryway, where it adds warmth and an artistic touch. Slight variations in weaving and color tone are part of the craftsmanship and make each wall hanging unique.
The wall hanging comes with a wooden hanger but also looks beautiful if framed.
The wall hanging can advantageously be steamed or ironed on low heat to smooth out the ends, as it is rolled up when you receive it.
