Large, beautiful vase with light blue/turquoise glaze and floral motif. The vase has a print on the top that gives it a nice organic shape.
"Ume" means "plum blossom" in Japanese. A classic Japanese symbol ofstrength and spring, because the flower pops out in the middle of the winter cold. The name refers to the delicate flower on the vase and the winter cold glaze.
The vase is handmade in Shigaraki, one of Japan's oldest and most renowned pottery regions with a pottery tradition spanning over 1,260 years. Each vase is characterized by Japanese aesthetics and timeless craftsmanship.
