Learn to embroider with Mender Society - Morning class for parents on parental leave
Join us for an embroidery and visible mending workshop where you'll learn how to repair and beautify your (and your child's) clothes with decorative embroidery. We've tailored this workshop for those on parental leave, which means we'll gather a small group in the morning hours and provide ample space for you to bring your child.
Katrine Damgaard, the founder of Mender Society, will teach the essential techniques and stitches for embroidery on clothes, so you can confidently continue your work at home.
Location: Sakura Social, Gammel Kongevej 91C, 1850 Frederiksberg.
Duration: Approx. 2.5 hours.
The workshop includes:
- Your own starter kit with the most essential embroidery equipment
- Mender Society's embroidery motifs and thread in beautiful colors
- Knowledge and practical experience with embroidery for visible mending
- Tea and snacks in the cozy surroundings of Sakura Social
