A beautiful and decorative tray in a shape reminiscent of a leaf, with a dark brown finish. The tray is from the Japanese brand Bunaco and is made in Aomori, Japan – in the area with Japan's largest beech forest.

The tray is made of beech wood, cut into paper-thin layers and shaped by hand using a special spiral technique. Instead of hollowing out solid wood, the shape is built up layer by layer – a process that requires time and precision and results in a light and strong construction.

The wood is processed with respect for the material and with minimal waste.
