Our Yōkoso doormat is hand-woven in the durable natural material jute.
The mats are intended for indoor use, but can withstand water, snow etc. on them.
The doormat is called " Yōkoso" , which means "welcome" in Japanese, because it symbolizes hospitality and a warm welcome. In Japanese culture, it is important to welcome people with respect and care, and " Yōkoso" reflects this tradition.
The mats are available in two sizes:
Small: approx. 40 x 70 x 1 cm.
Large: approx. 60 x 105 x 1 cm
