YAMA Vase

Large, beautiful, round Japanese vase. The vase is handmade in Shigaraki, one of Japan's oldest and most renowned pottery regions with ceramic traditions spanning over 1,260 years of history. Each vase bears the mark of Japanese aesthetics and timeless craftsmanship.

Yama means mountain. The name refers to the vase's rough texture and earthy color tone – solid and calm like a piece of nature.

It is recommended to 'saturate' the vase before first use. Place the vase in the sink and fill it with water both inside and out. Let the vase sit for approximately 15 minutes.

NB! The vase is handmade, and therefore small differences in shape and color may occur, which makes each vase unique.
