SHIZEN - Handmade rustic bowl

This handmade bowl combines raw beauty with functional design.
Glazed with an organic mixture of wood ash and porcelain residue, it has a natural, raw expression in white, cream and grayish tones with black details.

The bowl is ideal for both serving and cooking - and can be used directly in the oven.
The ceramic structure retains moisture in the food and is therefore perfect for baked vegetables, simmered dishes or oven dishes that must not dry out.
Please note that the bowl retains heat extra well after use.

The SHIZEN series is handmade in stoneware and glazed with organic glazes, made from natural ingredients such as wood ash. Working with organic materials, the glaze takes on a vibrant and unpredictable expression, with slight variations in color and texture that make each piece unique. The series is inspired by the Japandi style - a union of Japanese and Scandinavian design - simple, timeless and durable.
