A beautiful and decorative cake stand in black. The cake stand is from the Japanese brand Bunaco and is made in Aomori, Japan - in the area with Japan's largest beech forest.

The platter is made from beech wood, cut into paper-thin layers and shaped by hand using a special spiral technique. Instead of hollowing out solid wood, the shape is built up layer by layer - a process that requires time and precision and results in a light but strong construction.

The wood is processed with respect for the material and with minimal waste.
Suitable both for serving and as a decorative element in the home.
