Use the pitcher to serve sake and drink it from the small, elegant sake cup. Sake is a Japanese alcoholic beverage made primarily from rice, water, sugar and yeast. It is not a type of wine, although it is often referred to as "rice wine" because it is a fermented beverage where the rice is converted into alcohol. However, the pitchers are also great for sauce, milk, water or the like.

Alternatively, the jug can be used as a vase, for a single stem or two.
