RYE - Hem Bed Frame / Oiled Oak

The Hem bed frame is a sculptural centerpiece in the bedroom, masterfully crafted from solid red oak. Designed by Nikolaj Lorentz Mentze, founder of Studio 0405, it follows an architectural principle of stacking, allowing the furniture to highlight the natural variation of the wood in a beautifully layered expression.

The grain runs through each element of the oak, creating variations in expression that highlight the wood's natural and immediate character.

The Hem bed is characterized by its beautiful, wide bed frame and elegant minimalist, Japanese joinery. The edge of the bed can be used to hold a book, a cup, a vase, or other items - truly decorative and practical.

The bed frame is compatible with all types of mattresses, but RYE Sleep's own high-quality mattress can be purchased separately here.

The bed frame can be used with a mattress you already own, or you can choose a compatible mattress through our webshop.

Choose the size of the bed frame based on your mattress's size in the menu. Please note that the frame itself is 15 cm, so the bed with the frame measures + 30 cm in both length and width.

The Hem bed comes with clear and step-by-step instructions, making assembly simple and straightforward. It is recommended that two people assemble it, but it is also possible to assemble it alone.

Delivery time is 5-7 weeks.
