Beautiful, rustic round vase with dark grey/black glaze and lighter grey/white glaze on top. A beautiful addition to the home, both with and without flowers. 

Yama means mountain. The name refers to the vase's rough texture and earthy tone - solid and calm like a piece of nature.

The vase is handmade in Shigaraki, one of Japan's oldest and most renowned pottery regions with ceramic traditions spanning over 1,260 years of history. Each vase bears the mark of Japanese aesthetics and timeless craftsmanship.

It is recommended to ‘saturate’ the vase before its first use. Place the vase in the sink and fill it with water both inside and out. Let the vase sit for approximately 15 minutes.

NOTE: The vase is handmade, and therefore small variations in shape and color may occur, making each vase unique.
