The name Nanatsu means seven in Japanese and refers to the vase's seven-sided shape.

The vase is handmade in Shigaraki, one of Japan's oldest and most renowned pottery areas with more than 1,260 years of ceramic tradition. Each vase bears the mark of classic Japanese aesthetics and timeless craftsmanship, where small variations make each piece unique.
